This is so very good with excellent lighting to show up the texture and pitted surface.

Very cool fossil! Well done on the lighting.

I really like the texture of this sample, I wonder if that is a result of water erosion?

  4. So interesting. I wonder what made all the little holes.

This stone has a mysterious look about it. I sincerely hope you don’t have too many worries.

  6. Wow, surely you had to polish it to make it look like this, right? Very cool photo and I like the surface you put it on to display it. Well done!

  7. sgatanstu says:

How long have you been collecting stones? You certainly have a great selection and you photograph them so well.

  8. Ah, something that looks like I might find it here. We have granite and quartz and well, gold! 😀 I’m amazed at your collection and so glad you are sharing them with us.

Day 20. This is truly beautiful. Such a sharp photo to show up the texture.

  10. Again, beautiful color in a rock. I think it shows that we really don’t stop and look at the beauty around us when there can be so much in something as simple as a rock.
    Thanks for sharing. 🙂

This week’s favorite is definately the Hematite, both cool and warm colours in one object.

Day 16 is an awesome photo! There seems to be a Norse magic there, like you would imagine from runes 🙂
